• What areas do you serve?

  We're based in Southfield, Michigan and serve all of Metro Detroit, including Detroit, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Troy, Farmington Hills, Novi, Northville, Plymouth, Livonia, Ferndale, Sterling Heights, and Warren. We also handle long-distance moves throughout Michigan and interstate moves anywhere in the U.S.

• How far in advance should I book my move?

  We recommend booking 2–4 weeks ahead for residential moves, and 4–6 weeks for peak season (May through August) or month-end weekends. Same-week availability is sometimes possible — check our live calendar on the homepage.

• Do you offer packing services?

  Yes. We offer full-service packing and unpacking, partial packing for fragile items only, and we sell professional-grade boxes and supplies. Most customers add packing for kitchens and breakables only and handle the rest themselves.

• Do you move pianos and other heavy specialty items?

  Yes. Our crew is trained and equipped for upright pianos, baby grands, gun safes, antique armoires, treadmills, and other specialty items. There's a small surcharge — included transparently in your quote.

• Do you handle commercial and office moves?

  Yes. We've moved Metro Detroit offices, retail spaces, and commercial buildings since 2009. We work after-hours and weekends to minimize downtime, and can handle modular furniture, server rooms, and inventory.

• What if my move date changes?

  Life happens. Reschedule with at least 48 hours notice and there's no fee — we'll work with your new date based on availability.

• What makes Top Notch different from other Detroit movers?
